What is Mercy Mission Hope?

Mercy Mission Hope is a non-profit organization, which started in 2002.  At that time, our family was privileged to visit an impoverished area in Egypt.  We went to teach English to children.  Instead, we learned far more than what we could possibly teach them.  Our eyes were opened to extreme poverty, childhood neglect, inadequate shelter and overall substandard living conditions.  We benefitted tremendously from serving alongside ordained sisters and committed individuals, which had pledged their lives to helping others who were unable to help themselves.  They had little resources but great love.

After returning home, Mercy Mission Hope was founded in hope of housing and feeding the homeless, sheltering the children and providing them with the education necessary to overcome such living conditions.
